There is something deeply special about photographing couples who are just beginning their journey together—and this sunrise session in Florence was no exception. As a love photographer in Florence, I had the honor of capturing this newly married couple’s first morning in Italy, just days after their wedding.

We met before the sun had fully risen, the city still quiet, with the streets softly glowing in the early light. The sky was crystal clear, and the colors were incredibly defined—golden tones melting into soft blues, creating the perfect backdrop for romance. The couple, still glowing with the joy of their wedding, held hands as they wandered through the waking city, their love so visible in every glance and touch.
We started the session with panoramic views of the Duomo, bathed in golden light. The couple’s energy was playful yet deeply connected—moments of laughter, stillness, and spontaneous kisses. There was no need for posing, only for following their emotions as they explored together.
Later, we made our way to Piazzale Michelangelo, where the colors of the sky intensified, casting dramatic light on the rooftops of Florence. The newlyweds paused to take in the view, and I captured candid shots that reflected their sense of wonder and joy. Their love felt fresh and cinematic—like something from an old Italian film.
These photographs tell the story of love in motion—full of light, tenderness, and timeless charm. For couples traveling to Tuscany after their wedding, a sunrise session in Florence is the perfect way to preserve that joy forever.
If you’re planning a romantic getaway or honeymoon in Italy and wish to capture these fleeting moments in an unforgettable way, I’d love to create something meaningful with you. Let’s meet at sunrise and tell your story against one of the most beautiful cityscapes in the world.
