As an engagement photographer in Florence, I have the privilege of witnessing some of the most intimate and beautiful moments in people’s lives. This particular evening was a perfect example — a sunset proposal on a private panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of the Duomo.
The atmosphere was magical. The sky was painted in warm golden hues as the sun gently dipped behind Florence’s iconic skyline. The couple stood at the edge of the terrace, elegant and deeply in love. He took her hand, looked into her eyes, and slowly knelt down. In that soft golden light, he asked her to marry him — and she said yes.
Right after, he gifted her a bouquet of long, red roses. Sophisticated, timeless, and filled with meaning — just like them. Her smile glowed even brighter than the sunset, and I captured every detail: the ring, the tears of joy, the subtle embrace as the city stretched out beneath them.
We spent the next moments taking photos surrounded by beauty — the terrace wrapped in light, the city glowing behind them.
